4th and 5th graders!! Here is just one of the books that I book talked last week. Watch my blog for more book trailers.
Right now, I can't get enough of Katherine Hannigan's books! I am reading "True...sort of" to 4th and 5th grades. In a couple of weeks, I will read "Emmaline Bunny" to 3rd grade. K-2 will get to hear "Gwendolyn Grace" and "Dirt+Water=Mud". Why all Katherine Hannigan books?!? Stay tuned to find out!!!
I can't wait for you to see our "new" library and all the new books that you will discover! It's going to be a great year.
But before we do, what was your favorite part of the summer? Mine was spending time with my family and getting to meet my new granddaughter! I just finished a series called "Trackers" by Patrick Carman that has videos online that go with the book! So fun. My next book to read is "The War that Saved My Life" by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. 5th place- 5th grade with 3.17 hours 4th place- 4th grade with 6.35 hours 3rd place- 2nd grade with 8.59 hours 2nd place- 3rd grade with 9.95 hours 1st place- 1st grade with 15.10 hours! Way to go everyone! Here's to a Happy New Year and I'll check back with an update next weekend before we go back to school! |
